Jake Tapper teens respond to protesters outside their homes by waving and playing the national anthem

When Code Pink protesters demonstrated outside Jake Tapper's house, calling his coverage of the Israel-Hamas war “negligent” and “pathetic,” Tapper's teens responded by waving and playing “The Banner starry”.

Video of the incident shows protesters from the activist group Code Pink using megaphones outside Tapper's Washington home last week. At least one protester wore a keffiyeh, an Arab headscarf that has become associated with Palestinians.

Protesters accused Tapper, who is Jewish, of spreading “Israeli propaganda” and expressed anger because he refused to call Israeli military actions in Gaza a “genocide.”

Tapper's children, Jack, 14, and Alice, 16, responded to protesters by waving and playing the national anthem.

“We hope you're proud. You may be laughing now, but one day you'll realize the damage your father is going to cause, and I promise you, this big house won't be worth it,” shouts back one of the demonstrators. among adolescents.

“You wave and you think it's really funny, but the truth is it's really sick. Okay, you should go away,” another protester said.

Code Pink is well known for its vociferous protests, which have continued throughout the war between Israel and Hamas.
