In his lengthy message to Fallon (left), Scott (right) shared her past relationship experience and told her it was “necessary” for her to deal with grief.

As Billie Eilish's TV song played in the background, Fallon shared screenshots of her father's kind and thoughtful words.

Scott said, “Hey, little girl… here's your old man's point of view… I've been in a lot of relationships… from one night stands, to flings, to friends with benefits, to friends, to live – with friends, and then I met your mother.

He continued to tell Fallon about his past relationships before meeting his mother, saying that when she came into his life everything was “instantly different” because he had other experiences before that.

Scott then told his daughter that what she was going through was “necessary” for her to figure out who would be right for her in the future.

“I can also say that even though I was broken up and, in one case, cheated on, it was worth it to get to where I am now,” he added.

The doting dad told Fallon he was “heartbroken” and felt “destined to be alone” when going through tough breakups.

“After reading the first sentence, I was like, 'Oh, this is something my heart needed,'” Fallon said.

He then promised his daughter that she wouldn't be alone before giving her more meaningful advice.

“When someone lets you know you're not for them, face the pain and suffering knowing that this person has just given you back the most precious thing in the world: your time.”

He told his daughter to “be grateful for this experience” and “rejoice” in knowing she has her whole life ahead of her.

Scott then shared a metaphor with Fallon about a bull running into a storm and facing the harsh conditions by being brave.

“So be the bull, lean into the storm, embrace the suction and let it fill you,” Scott told Fallon.

“You are strong enough to endure, and very soon you will be at peace,” he added, signing off the post with “Love Dad” and a heart emoji.

Fallon explained that she and her ex-girlfriend were in a long-distance relationship and it was “very difficult.”

Scott told Good Morning America that his main goal was to comfort and support his daughter during this difficult time.

“I knew it was really weighing on him, so I started typing and it’s quite a long text but it came out pretty quickly,” Scott said.

“A few minutes later I get a text saying, ‘I love you, Dad,’ and I was like, okay, mission accomplished, right?

“And then you wake up in the morning and she's like, 'Dad, you've gone viral,'” he added.

Fallon explained that she knew others would benefit from her father's kind and moving words.

“I just felt like in that moment those words touched me so deeply, that I knew other people in the world probably needed to hear that,” Fallon said.

Scott said he was “shocked” to realize there were a lot of people who didn't have anyone to give them advice like his after seeing how many people were touched by his gesture.

He explained that he was not close to his father and that it had “always been important” for him to be there for his children.

Fallon choked up during an interview when describing her father as her “best friend.”

“We were always very close growing up,” she said.

“She made me a father, so the rules of my life changed when she was born,” Scott added.

“I don't always have the right answers, but I come from the heart and try to give the best advice I can when she comes to me with something, to be her friend and just try to support her unconditionally while she really understands this important part of her life.

Commenters quickly flooded the video and praised the father for his kind words.

“This is seriously the sweetest thing I have ever seen,” one wrote.

“Well Scott, you’re making us all cry,” said another.

One commenter said: “He's our dad now.”

“Now this makes me BLOOD,” said another.
