Israeli forces kill Palestinian teenager in West Bank raid

The martyr, identified as 15-year-old Ashraf Hmedat, was reportedly killed during an Israeli raid on the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp near Ariha.

Palestinian News Agency Wafa reported Saturday that Israeli forces killed a Palestinian teenager in the occupied West Bank.

The victim, identified as 15-year-old Ashraf Hmedat, was reportedly martyred during an Israeli raid on the Aqabat Jabr refugee camp near Ariha.

The condition of the second person involved in the incident remains unclear, as reported Wafa.

Violence in the West Bank has intensified significantly since the start of the genocide in Gaza. An estimated 520 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli troops or settlers in the West Bank since October 7.

Earlier in the day, Palestinian news sources reported that clashes broke out in the town of Silet al-Dhahr, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank, when members of the Resistance launched explosive devices improvised explosives (IEDs) on Israeli vehicles.

In western Jenin, resistance fighters engaged in armed clashes with Israeli soldiers at the Salem military checkpoint.

Meanwhile, the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades – Jenin – reported engaging in intense clashes with Israeli forces invading the town of Kafr Dan, using machine guns and explosive devices.

In Nablus, the Al-Aqsa martyrs fought against Israeli forces invading the area around the Balata camp, using machine guns and explosive devices.

They reported that their brigades in Tulkarem managed to target Israeli forces with an explosive device on Friday during their incursion into the Shweika suburb of Tulkarem.
