Inmate joins girlfriend on fentanyl trafficking charges | News

A charge of trafficking fentanyl was filed Tuesday against an inmate at the Lawton Correctional Facility.Comanche County District Court issued a felony warrant for Omarion Kentrell Logan, 21, for trafficking fentanyl, records show. This offense is punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a fine of between $100,000 and $250,000.The charge stems from a March 29 visit to the jail, 8607 SE Flower Mound Road, by his girlfriend, Miracle Michala Dixon.After their visit, Logan was searched and correctional officers discovered 6 grams of fentanyl in a small package wrapped in black electrical tape, the warrant affidavit states. “Extremely agitated” Logan was not questioned, according to investigators.Dixon was arrested before she could leave the facility. She admitted to investigators that she took the package into the jail, the affidavit states. She said Logan gave her a phone number to call and she was directed to an address in Lawton where she picked up the prepackaged package.The package, which Dixon believed to be tobacco, was hidden under her bra and she handed it to Logan under the table, according to the affidavit. Dixon said it was the first time she brought contraband to Logan. She said she had known him for seven years and had visited him three times, including that day.Dixon, 21, of Tulsa, made her first appearance April 3 in Comanche County District Court where she was charged with felonies of trafficking fentanyl and conspiracy, records show. She posted $70,000 bail and was released from the Comanche County Detention Center two days later.Logan is serving an eight-year sentence for an October 2020 conviction in Tulsa County on one count of robbery or attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, according to Oklahoma Department of Corrections records.
