Indiana dog reunited with owner after missing for 2 years

A Pit Bull who disappeared two years ago has finally been found. The puppy, named Loki, was reunited with his owner, Samantha Powers, in Indiana. The dog was her emotional support animal, and the duo ended up with lots of happy tears and sloppy kisses.

Emotional Support Dog Missing For 2 Years, Found With Owner

Loki had disappeared from Samantha Powers' friend's house. While she was away from home, she asked her friend to take care of her beloved pet. However, the emotional support dog managed to escape and she lost hope after searching for him for several months.

Powers had already accepted that she would not meet Loki again in this life, according to the New York Post. However, everything changed when she received a call from Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control informing her that they had found her emotional support dog. Although the puppy had been missing for two years, he appeared healthy and well taken care of wherever he was in recent years.

Loki was microchipped, which helped authorities contact his family, who were thrilled to receive the call. The dog was found on Warsaw Street and was fortunately reunited with its owner. Samantha and her family wished the people who owned the Pittie could scan his microchip sooner so she could find Loki sooner.

The pet owner had a heartwarming reunion with his beloved emotional support dog. Loki couldn't contain his excitement after seeing his owner again after two years. As Powers cried tears of joy, the Pittie showered her with kisses at the Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control Center. Samantha's mother, Barbara Powers, also couldn't hold back her tears as she exclaimed: “Animals aren't just animals. They are part of your family.

The family noted that Loki would never have been able to find his owner without the microchip. Barbara said this is a must, no matter what type of pet the owner cares for.
