Illegal drugs, weapons found in Hickory Hill drug bust

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis man is facing several criminal charges after a search warrant at a Hickory Hill home led police to discover large quantities of illegal drugs.

According to reports, on June 4, the Memphis Police Department's Organized Crime Unit Drug Team executed a search warrant at a home located in the 7300 block of Winter Harbor Lane.

Officers reportedly found more than 500 grams of marijuana, more than 200 grams of cocaine, more than 20 grams of fentanyl and more than 20 grams of mushrooms in the home. An AR-15 rifle, an AK-47 rifle and two handguns were also found, and MPD seized more than $10,000 in cash from the residence.

Adam Bowman, 33, was found inside the home and taken into custody, according to police.

Bowman was charged with three counts of possession of a handgun, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture/deliver /sell, namely: marijuana, cocaine, fentanyl, and psilocybin mushrooms.

He was released on $90,000 bail.
