IGP family petitions and calls for investigation into alleged fraud against detained accountant

The family of a detained Chartered Accountant, Mrs. Omafume Augustina Ayinuola, has petitioned the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, to investigate allegations of fraud leveled against their daughter by a prominent stockbroker and businessman, Peter Ololo.

In the petition signed by Erhievuyère-Dominic Oghenetega Peter, brother of the detained accountant, the family members lamented that they are currently living in fear for the safety of their detained sister, stressing that they have been victims of harassment and harassment. The family urged the IGP to conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into the accusations against Omafume and his mother to ensure that justice prevails and those who abused the power of their office are held accountable for their actions.

According to the petitioner, over a year ago, his mother, Lydia A bosede Erhievuyere and sister, Omafume Augustina Ayinuola, were falsely accused of stealing over N1.5 billion by a stockbroker , Peter Ololo. The petitioner said Omafume worked in various companies before joining RSL international, part of the Pine Petosan group of companies, in 2015.
