HYBE vs. Min Hee Jin: BTS Name Dropped in Alleged Text String Leak; ADOR CEO Apparently Plotting Against Kpop Giant

A new series of alleged texts joins a pre-existing bank of leaks containing messages shared between ADOR officials. The texts appear to confirm HYBE Label's accusations against Min Hee Jin amid an ongoing legal battle for control.

In a previous development on the HYBE vs. Min Hee Jin front, ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin claimed to have sent an email to HYBE CEO Park Ji Won, HYBE Chairman Bang Si Hyuk and Chairman of HYBE America Scooter Braun, addressing cases where other groups may have plagiarized. The ongoing psychological warfare behind the closed doors of the HYBE building has escalated into an unprecedented hot drama that K-pop fans can't get enough of. Fueling the well-lit fire, South Korean media outlet TV Daily has blown the lid off ADOR's CEO, revealing a lengthy thread of text messages that appears to see Min plotting about ADOR's departure from HYBE's multi-label control system. This particular leak went viral online as mentions of the sensational septet BTS caught the attention of fans.

The purported KakaoTalk message thread allegedly written by Min Hee Jin had already taken the internet by storm. The focus was on Min's seemingly derogatory comments towards the members of NewJeans, despite her positioning herself as a motherly figure in the girl group's career.

The latest leak once again focuses on alleged online conversations between Min Jee Jin and “Deputy CEO Lee.” Screenshots reveal that “Lee” allegedly targeted BTS in his February 4 message to Min: “We need to do something before BTS comes back in a year.”

“Lee” continues: “A year from now, their multi-label/American disease/computer platform delusions will all have to be shit if that's supposed to be the case…It would make it harder for them and we would win our freedom. In a later response, Hee Jin acknowledges Lee's idea.

The two ADOR leaders are apparently planning their “escape” from HYBE, relying on the media as leverage against the giant K-pop label. Reluctantly, Min eventually agreed to use the media to their advantage, seeing it as a necessary evil in their plan to “make HYBE difficult”. The South Korean entertainment company is currently home to several subsidiary labels, including ADOR, which manages NewJeans.

While Lee adds the “manipulation of HYBE graphics” clause as a further attack on the company's brand's appearance of authenticity, Min appears to accept his strategies. She responds, “We need to plan our escape while HYBE is under fire. » On top of that, the alleged conversation shows her divulging the next step, requiring them to meet with a reporter from a well-known media outlet who she apparently only knew from afar.

In Lee's next response, the deputy CEO joins the ADOR CEO and responds about building a network of contacts to fight back against HYBE: “First, we will get closer to them and, like the drizzle falling on clothes, we “I will quietly build a personal network of accountants, competitors, investors, external directors, investment companies and media.

As Hee Jin later adds that they are doing this on personal terms without using the ADOR name, Lee sets the agenda for February: “making these external alliances while building ADOR's capabilities internally.”

In another conversation thread from March, Vice President Lee and Min delve deeper into negotiations for the purchase of NewJeans. They are discussing potential investors interested in investing in NewJeans. Long chains of financial calculations and legal considerations enter into the debate.

Eventually, Lee wrote a memo listing the grievances they hoped would bring down HYBE. These discussions share eerie similarities with claims made by ADOR's CEO during the early stages of the internal rift with HYBE, during which she sought to “expose” the label. As Lee and Min's plans against HYBE continue, the messages highlight a moral divide in the foundations of the K-pop industry. With each side's ethical inadequacies laid bare, Min also discusses the manipulation of NewJeans members' parents into acting as supposed whistleblowers against HYBE.
