As reported The starthe Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Police opened the investigation following a complaint filed in 2022 by Aryawardhana's ex-wife, Arina Winarto, who alleged discrepancies in the records financial advisors of PT Arjuna Advaya during the period when Aryawardhana was director of the company, from 2015 to 2021.

Winarto's lawyer said that having “complete control over the financial operations of the company,” Aryawardhana closed the business in 2019 due to financial problems, including his inability to pay rent.

However, a subsequent review of the company's financial statements by Winarto revealed suspicious activities involving manipulation, and Aryawardhana was unable to provide adequate explanations for the inconsistencies found, as reported Borneo Newsletter.

Aryawardhana and Winarto, who share three daughters, married in June 2014 and divorced in October 2021.

In December last year, Aryawardhana remarried Lestari, a 41-year-old well-known figure in the Indonesian music industry.
