Husband hits wife in fury over alleged affair in Central

A husband was arrested in Central early Sunday morning for attacking his wife and daughter because he suspected his wife of having an affair.

Shortly before 5 a.m., at an apartment on Peel Street, a man got into an argument with his wife over drinking alcohol after he suspected she was having an affair, which escalated until let him take out a knife and swing it with a bang. to attack his wife.

Her young daughter, who was trying to protect her mother, was also hit with a knife.

The mother and daughter fled into the street and were found by passers-by who called police for help.

Police were alerted to the scene and arrested the man.
