Human remains found during search for missing persons in Hudson

TAMPA, Fla. — Investigators with the Pasco County Sheriff's Office say human remains were found during the search for four missing people in Hudson.

Rain Mancini, Phillip Zilliot II, Karma Zilliot and Phillip Zilliot III were all last seen on June 12 around 12:30 a.m. in the Nottingham Trail area of ​​Hudson.

The remains have not been identified and the missing persons case remains open.

Sheriff Chris Nocco said a suspect, identified as Rory Atwood, 25, is charged with first-degree murder.

Nocco says it all started Wednesday night when Atwood and missing adults were drinking in the Nottingham Trail area of ​​Hudson.

On Thursday, Nocco said Atwood called several people to tell them he had killed someone.

When officers first searched the area, they found nothing, but after returning with a K-9 unit, human remains were discovered.

Shelly Zilliot says she wants everyone to know that each of her missing family members holds a special place in her heart.

“My daughter Karma, she had just finished school and she was getting off the bus and telling me what she had learned,” she said. “My grandson wanted to be a ninja… He wants to be a ninja… I just really need to know that they're okay.”

Rain Mancini, 26, is 5'7″, approximately 240 pounds, with auburn hair and brown eyes. Phillip Zilliot II, 25, is 5'10″, approximately 238 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes . Karma Zilliot, 6, is 3'6″, about 65 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Phillip Zilliot III, 5, is 4″, about 65 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Officials said it was unclear what they were last wearing.
