HPD: 1 dead, 1 detained after Hillcroft stabbing

HOUSTON — A man was stabbed to death Friday, according to Houston police.

Authorities said another man was arrested.

It happened around 7 p.m. when a fight broke out in the parking lot of the Walgreens along Hillcroft Street between Bellaire Boulevard and the Southwest Freeway in the Gulfton neighborhood.

It's unclear exactly why the two men were arguing.
