How to Upgrade Weapons in The First Descendant

If you're reading this, chances are you have a nice rare weapon, but you've found that it doesn't do as much damage as a common weapon. Don't worry…The first descendant has a weapon upgrade system, and we're here to tell you everything you need to know about it.

The First Descendant: How to Upgrade Weapons

You don't specifically level up weapons in The first descendantInstead, you can transfer the level of a higher level weapon to a lower level weapon. This process destroys the higher level weapon.

You can do this by visiting the Albion Workbench, located near Anaïs's Research Center. Follow these steps to transfer a level from one weapon to another.

• Interact with the workbench and choose Weapon Level Transmission (the first option)
• Select a weapon you want to upgrade
• Now choose a weapon you want to use (and destroy) for level transmission
• Make sure you have a Precision phase exchanger (otherwise, you can look for one at Anaïs)
• Long press the Weapon Level Transmission button (lower right corner)
• Enjoy your upgraded weapon

How to Upgrade Ultimate Weapons in The First Descendant

Upgrading ultimate weapons is the same as upgrading any other weapon In The first descendantIn fact, the entire weapon upgrade system probably exists so you can keep your ultimate weapons upgraded.

The first ultimate weapon you will upgrade will probably be the Thunder Cage. We highly recommend upgrading your ultimate weapons regularly so that you can keep them updated with newer, higher quality weapons.
