Buried Bloodline is a weapon exclusive to Warlord Ruins Dungeon, which is unlocked when purchasing the Lightfall Dungeon Key. This costs $20 silver and includes access to this dungeon and the Ghosts of the Deep dungeon. Once you have that, you want to speak to Ikora and begin the quest In the Shadow of the Mountain, which itself begins with the end of the Warlord's Ruin dungeon.

Once in the dungeon itself, you want to proceed as normal and defeat the final boss, Hefnd's Vengeance. Similar to raids, defeating dungeons the final boss has a small chance of falling the Buried Bloodline weapon. This means you might get it on your fourth run, or you might get it on your 24th. This leaves you at the mercy of the RNG. It doesn't help that this can only be done once per week per character, which only gives you three opportunities per week. Either way, sticking to it should bring back the buried lineage at some point.

Is buried bloodline worth using?

The Buried Bloodline is a sidearm that comes with the Hungering Quarrel exotic perk. This perk turns your shots into double-tracked bolts. Hitting a target with both tiles drains health, helping your ability to survive. Additionally, multiple final hits with the weapon grant Devour. The weapon is considered suitable for PvP content, but excellent in PvE due to its high damage and sustain capabilities. If you manage to solve the puzzles in the Warlord's Ruin dungeon and obtain its catalyst, Devour will weaken any targets you encounter. If you want your Exotic to be useful, you'll have a hard time finding a good alternative.
