How to get Incarnon weapons in Warframe

Incarnon weapons are a fascinating area of Warframe weapon developments. The ability to use Incarnon Genesis upgrades on existing weapons adds a level of customization, allowing players to tailor their builds more effectively.

This system is only available via Warframe story content, so if you want to unlock the weapons of Incarnon, you will need to complete at least the Angels of Zariman questline. Additionally, to get the most out of it, you should ideally unlock the Steel Path and Circuit as well. This guide includes some mild spoilers for these storylines, all describing how to unlock Incarnon weapons in Warframe.

Warframe Weapons of Incarnon: unlock conditions and details

The unique fluid metallic appearance of Incarnon's weapons comes from their transformation by the Void itself. You'll no doubt recognize their striking visual design from the internal architecture of the Void-twisted Zariman, and this also reflects their changeable nature.

Each Incarnon weapon has several stages of evolution, which must be unlocked with particular achievements, similar to unlocking Rivens, although fortunately a bit more consistent than those unlocked by Riven. Early levels often have simple requirements, while Incarnon's unique weapons present more difficult Tier III evolution challenges tied to missions on the Zariman or Sanctum Anatomica.

You can purchase the blueprint for your first Incarnon, the Laetum, via Cavalero on the Zariman after unlocking the Holdfasts during the Angels of the Zariman storyline. The blueprint costs 3000 points, but can be obtained from level 0 with Holdfasts. T

The Laetum is a powerful starting Incarnon weapon, with a large semi-automatic pistol as its base form that deals radiation damage with an overall above-average stat line. As you land headshots during missions, the central reticle fills up and you can use alt fire to transform it into a dangerous automatic rifle. With an easy-to-unlock first evolution, the Laetum is a great introduction to the Incarnon system and remains one of the best Incarnon weapons.

Additional evolutions of Incarnon weapons in Warframe

Each Incarnon evolution after the first allows players to choose a different bonus to weapon stats like damage and reload speed, or particular effects such as providing Overshields when particular conditions are met. These evolutions can be changed at any time, allowing players to tinker with different versions to achieve the best effect.

You can obtain additional unique Incarnon weapons from Cavalero or Sanctum Anatomica (by following Whispers in the Walls and the Deadlock Protocol), and you can transform your existing weapons into Incarnon versions with an Incarnon Genesis upgrade, obtained through the circuit Steel Path. The regular circuit rewards players with Warframe coins, but the Steel Path circuit offers two options for Incarnon Genesis upgrades each week.

These come from a battle pass style reward path. They follow a similar weekly rotation to regular circuit Warframe parts, so if there isn't an option you like right now, you can always wait for it to reset. If you're aiming for a particular Incarnon Genesis weapon, you can also predict when it will appear next. That said, Incarnon forms often significantly change the gameplay feel of a weapon, meaning it's a good opportunity to revisit weapons in your arsenal that have been sitting untouched for a while.
