Modern Warfare 3 has a lot of daily and weekly challenges that can help players unlock several new weapons, camos, and attachments in the game.

Some of them require certain types of kills to ensure the challenges are completed. One of the types of kills you may have to get are Burst Kills, which are quite unusual when hearing for the first time.

In this ONE Esports guide, we explain what they are and how to get Burst Kills in Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer.

How to get Burst Kills in MW3 easily

Scoring this type of kill can be done with weapons that have the three-round burst firing mode. It essentially means these fire three rounds at a single time.

These are extremely powerful weapons, and with optimal attachments, they can be made even more formidable.

Getting Burst Kills is very easy if your weapon is modded properly. Currently, these are the burst fire weapons in MW3:

  • Lachmann Sub
  • Lachmann Shroud
  • M16
  • Renetti
  • FR 5.56
  • DG-58

You will need to switch the firing more than three rounds for this as the default firing mode may be different. To do that, press the left D-pad in consoles gold B in keyboard for PC users.

Weapons with burst-fire mode are generally tricky to use, so be sure to pick out your preferred one by testing them in the firing range.

Using automatic weapons and firing them in short intervals does not count as bursts.

To rack up a lot of Burst Kills, playing the 6v6 modes is always the good choice. Team Deathmatch, Free For All, Hardpoint, and Control are the best options for stacking up a good amount of these kills.

Additionally, you can select the 24/7 playlists to make this type of elimination much quicker.
