Homicide victim identified in East Wenatchee apartment | Columbia Basin

EAST WENATCHEE – The identity of the young mother whose lifeless body was discovered by authorities Tuesday in an apartment in East Wenatchee is now known. Synthia Ring, 28, was found dead in a locked bedroom of her apartment in the 500 block of Eastmont Avenue.

Emergency medical personnel at the scene noted marks on his body, indicating foul play. Upon arrival, officers observed a four-year-old boy inside the locked residence, crying and apparently alone. Police said the boy was in good condition when he was found. As for the victim, his death is now the subject of a homicide investigation. The four-year-old child found in the apartment was her son. He is now in the care of his family members. A suspect is being sought.
