Homewood shooting leaves one injured

Pittsburgh's Action News 4 photojournalist at the scene saw police cars at the intersection of Collier Street. and Hamilton Avenue. Pittsburgh Public Safety said a female victim was found in the 7300 block of Hamilton Avenue around 1 p.m. She had a gunshot wound to her leg and was taken to hospital in stable condition. Witnesses told police that two or three people fled the scene on foot. No details about any suspect(s) were provided. Pittsburgh police are investigating. This is a developing story. A Pittsburgh Action News 4 photojournalist at the scene saw police cars at the intersection of Collier Street and Hamilton Avenue. Pittsburgh Public Safety said a female victim was found in the 7300 block of Hamilton Avenue around 1 p.m.

She suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was taken to hospital in stable condition.

Witnesses told police that two or three people fled the scene on foot.
