Helldivers 2's latest broadcast includes new weapons and wormholes, and it all looks like the start of the Illuminates coming into the fight

Helldiverse 2 is a game that refuses to become banal. Usually, a game's lifecycle can take directions that alienate players. But in the case of Arrowhead's passion project, that possibility is unlikely, especially considering how the game's story has developed.

According to a recent announcement, it appears that the universe in Helldiverse 2 will soon face a new threat, as well as new ways to play. This includes the possibility of multiple universes colliding, giving helldivers a chance to redeem a new future for the Super Citizens.

If you've been a faithful hell diver who's worked to restore faith in managed democracy, it's understandable why or how you must have missed something like this. After all, there's a lot going on in Helldiverse 2 universe, and it can be difficult to keep track of everything.

It turns out that the game's Dark Fluid Research Center witnessed a dark turn of events that led to “volatile exotic materials' collapsing into a micro black hole. This 'spaghettified 12 members of the establishment' making a bit of a dent in the research. However, progress in the study and development of a weaponized black fluid will continue as planned.

Now, this is a story you don't hear about too often. What exactly does this mean for the game? Will Helldiverse 2 Do you now have more animated shorts like this that reveal more about the game's narrative? We'll probably know more soon.

Weaponized Dark Fluid and Multiverse in Helldivers 2

The game could benefit from new weapons and enemy types.

The mention of more than one universe is a broad enough indication to suggest a long-term perspective for Helldiverse 2 when it comes to his storyline. This has a direct impact on how players experience the game. First, there is the possibility of new enemy types posing a threat to the lives of super citizens.

Second, using Weaponized Dark Fluid to fight enemies will add new weapons and stratagems to the mixture. Perhaps even a type of ammunition that constitutes a new way to fight against the dark forces of nature. Only time will tell how Arrowhead will achieve this vision.

While there is no concrete information on any of this, it is likely that future seasons of Helldiverse 2 will start to focus on fighting the Terminides and Automata towards someone newer and possibly more evil. It will be interesting to see how the team builds an enemy type around this.

In the past, the two main enemy types behaved distinctly in combat. While Terminids can often be disgusting and all over the place, Automatons are ruthless in their strategy and sometimes pose a greater threat. Likewise, the new enemy type will feel different in combat.
