Memorial Day is shaping up to be the hottest day of the year so far. The increased humidity will cause the temperature to rise to almost 108 degrees!

Tonight and tomorrow: As we've seen over the last few nights, it's going to be pretty sticky. Lows will be around 79 degrees under partly to mostly cloudy skies. As daybreak approaches, a stray shower cannot be ruled out. Get ready for the oppressive heat once the sun rises tomorrow. Highs will reach near 96 degrees, under partly sunny skies. High humidity values will cause the felt temperature to rise to almost 108 degrees! Heat exhaustion and heat stroke can occur at these temperatures if you don't take care of yourself. If you're outside, make sure you take frequent breaks and drink plenty of water. As we move into the evening, peak daytime heating will allow for a few spotty storms to break out. Most will stay dry.

Following: Tuesday will see temperatures in the mid 90s, along with occasional storms. We start to see a slight change in trend Tuesday evening. Some slightly cooler air will seep into the area. This will bring lows back to the lower 70s, highs near 90 and also slightly lower humidity. Every day of the week, storms will break out in the evening. This trend will continue through the weekend.

The Tropics: No tropical cyclone development is expected in the next 7 days.
