Have you seen Zach Calabro? Missing Eugene man was last seen on May 27

Zach Calabro was last seen on Monday, May 27 and was reported missing on May 29.

Calabro's friend, Jordan Juarez, says he was shot in the head on the 27th after a confrontation with a tent dweller.

Eugene police said he may have been delusional when he walked into someone's tent last Monday and was hit in the head.

The friend who reported him missing said he called an ambulance for Calabro and was taken to the Sacred Heart Riverbend emergency department for treatment. That was the last time he heard from her.

Jordan Juarez says: “He's a quiet guy; he keeps to himself, very nice, you know, to the people around him; he's a very genuine guy; he would give you the shirt off his back, very good guy. ” Juarez adds: “I want people, you know, to know that he's important to a lot of people; he's important to us.”

EPD officers followed up, including on May 30, when property belonging to Calabro was found in a resident's yard on Elysium Avenue. EPD was dispatched June 2 to recover a cell phone belonging to Calabro, found near Coburg Road and Chad Drive.

Zach Calabro is 29 years old. He might wear loose pants, a dark-colored shirt, a hat, and slip-on shoes. He has dark brown hair and eyes.

If you see Zach, contact the Eugene Police Department.
