Have you seen her? Missing Fayetteville teen could be in South Carolina, police say

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Investigators are asking the public to help them locate a missing teenage girl, the Fayetteville Police Department said Wednesday.


Police said Lauren Hawkins, 17, was last seen in the Gaffsail Drive area of ​​Fayetteville.

According to investigators, Hawkins is approximately 5'7″ tall and weighs 140 pounds. She has brown eyes, black hair that may have been swept back, a medium build, a small mole on the right side of her nose, a scar on her right arm near her elbow and a septum piercing with a silver ring.

Officers said Hawkins also had a tattoo on the back of his forearm that read “God is within her, she will never fail” in black and red letters.

Hawkins was last seen carrying a black and white bag, according to the police department.

Investigators said they believe she could be in Spartanburg, South Carolina, or Boiling Springs, South Carolina, just outside Spartanburg.
