Gymnast Jordan Chiles Roles Beyoncé in Sparkly Leotard

There's no way around it – Jordan Chiles is that girl.

The U.S. Olympic gymnast took to the mat Friday night for the first day of the 2024 U.S. Gymnastics Championships and dazzled in a custom leotard inspired by Queen Bey herself.

The leotard was a mix of colors and textures that came together in perfect harmony, just like the outfit that inspired it. The swirls of pink, blue, red, silver and green made Chiles a star during her competition in Fort Worth, Texas. The leotard was reportedly adorned with 4,400 Swarovski crystals and sparkled under the bright lights. Black mesh sleeves balanced out the bright colors and highlighted the remaining crystals.

Chiles showed a reference photo of one of Beyoncé's many Renaissance World Tour looks to gymnastics clothing maker GK Elite and asked that it be reproduced, according to Athleticism.

The outfit that inspired Chiles came from one of Beyoncé's many couture pieces she wore on the Renaissance World Tour. This particular pattern is a reimagined archival Giardino print by Emilio Pucci that covered Bey from head to toe – literally. Beyoncé wore the catsuit during her birthday show in Los Angeles, California on September 4, 2023, when she brought in Diana Ross and Kendrick Lamar as special guests.

Jordan Chiles is aiming to join Team USA and compete in his second Olympics this year in Paris. The competition has just started on Friday evening and will decide who will continue. Chiles hopes to join Simone Biles, the most decorated gymnast of all time, who is expected to be a star this year after placing number one last night. The Chileans placed seventh that evening, but there is still time to improve as the competition continues throughout the weekend. But it's safe to say that her Renaissance-inspired look was one of the best of the night.
