Greenville County Pedestrian Identified After Car Crash

GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – The Greenville County Coroner's Office, along with the South Carolina Highway Patrol, have identified the victim who was struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning.

The pedestrian, Kevin James Calvert, of Greenville, was transported to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Calvert succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.

The accident happened in the area of ​​Whitehorse Road and Anderson Road.

The case is being investigated by the Greenville County Coroner's Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

The cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries and his death was ruled accidental.
