Friday May 24

12:50 a.m.: A deputy investigated a car crash with a deer on U Avenue near 150th Street. David Hauber 19, of Ames, struck a deer with a 2015 Chevrolet Express van. Damage to the van is estimated at $4,000.

4:58 a.m.: The sheriff and a deputy investigated an alarm in the 700 block of South 14th Street in Grand Junction.

5:15 a.m.: The sheriff cleared storm debris from the roadway on W Avenue near 250th Street.

5:36 a.m.: The sheriff and a deputy replaced construction stop lights that were knocked over on 130th Street near V Avenue.

5:45 a.m.: The sheriff assisted the Boone County Sheriff's Office in planting a tree across the road in the 100 block of 130th Street in Boone County.

8:23 a.m.: A deputy investigated a suspicious vehicle leaving Rippey on U Avenue.

Saturday May 25

8:16 a.m.: A deputy investigated a burglary in the 800 block of East Main Street in Grand Junction.

9:25 a.m.: Tammy Tolsdorf 57 of Jefferson was booked into jail for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd or Subsequent Offense 2 Counts, Possession of Premises or Vehicle for Controlled Substance Violation and Unlawful Possession of prescription medications.

10:19 a.m.: A deputy investigated a complaint of a plane having engine problems near Farlin.

10:21 a.m.: A deputy investigated a theft in the 600 block of I Avenue.

4:55 p.m.: Dale Ganoe 46 of Jefferson was booked into custody for domestic assault, third or subsequent offense.

9:02 p.m.: A deputy investigated a complaint of criminal mischief in the 900 block of 230th Street.

Sunday May 26

2:57 p.m.: A deputy investigated a civil matter in the 600 block of Locust Street, Scranton.

In all cases where a defendant has been charged, it is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
