Green Bay police identify homicide victim after stabbing on the city's east side

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – The Green Bay Police Department (GBPD) has released the identity of the victim of Monday's deadly attack on Roosevelt Street.

A release from the GBPD identified the victim as Robert Marshall, 33, of Green Bay.

Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of South Roosevelt Street shortly after 5 p.m. on Monday, June 3 after Marshall was found lying on the ground.

In less than an hour and a half, three people were arrested during a traffic stop in another jurisdiction and brought back to Green Bay for questioning.

GBPD will forward charges to the Brown County Prosecutor's Office regarding the three individuals currently in custody in the Brown County Jail.

Officers noted that the victim and the three suspects knew each other, saying the incident occurred during an armed robbery.
