An Iowa teenager could receive a brand new set of golf clubs for free after losing his home in a storm that ravaged the state earlier this week.

“I had about three thousand dollars in it,” he added, noting how much money he had invested in his clubs.

“I want to give a shout out to TaylorMade, Titleist and Callway,” Gebbie joked in a viral clip that made the reporter laugh, naming three of the biggest golf equipment brands in the United States. “I really need a new set. I lost it, and I really love golf.”

Several brands were quick to respond, including Callaway, who wrote: “Happy to help. Send us a DM.”

“I'm happy to announce that @CallawayGolf is in contact with Bradley, who just graduated from Nodaway High School on Sunday, and Callaway says he will provide a complete club and equipment upgrade,” Murphy wrote in a follow-up post. “Bradley was a member of the Wolverines golf team and his sense of humor during difficult times is inspiring.”

Several other brands – and some supportive golfers – praised Gebbie for his sense of humor in the face of tragedy and offered to buy him a few more golf gifts.
