Girl missing after being attacked at Massachusetts school found safe

HOW THE SCHOOL DEALS WITH BULLYING. I am very relieved. I FEEL A WEIGHT LIFT OFF MY SHOULDERS AND FROM HIS FAMILY AND I AM VERY GRATEFUL TO THE COMMUNITY FOR COMING TOGETHER. REPORTER ANDREA LEONARD SPENT THE PAST THREE DAYS SEARCHING FOR A MISSING 15-YEAR-OLD FAMILY FRIEND. THE GIRL HAD DISAPPEARED JUST A WEEK AFTER SUFFERING A PHYSICAL ASSAULT AT HER SCHOOL. THE VIDEO OF THIS ASSAULT WAS circulating on social networks. There were a few hits and they pulled her into the bathroom and then forced her to lick the bathroom floor. I'm happy to report that Mashpee police say a 13-year-old girl will face charges for the school attack and the investigation continues, but parents who came to this committee meeting school still have questions. CONCERNED ABOUT HOW TO HANDLE VIOLENCE AT SCHOOL. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME WITH OTHER CHILDREN IN THIS SCHOOL SYSTEM. THIS HAS NOT BEEN FIXED. THIS IS NOT BULLYING. THIS IS PHYSICAL VIOLENCE. I feel like they don't take it seriously. COMMITTEE PROMISED TO TAKE A CLOSER LOOK AT BULLYING POLICY. OUR MEETING ENDED THIS EVENING WITH US, AS A COMMITTEE, COLLECTIVELY AGREEING THAT WE NEED TO LOOK AT THIS. WE WANT TO, YOU KNOW, HAVE A DISCUSSION AT OUR NEXT MEETING ABOUT WHAT OUR NEXT STEPS WILL BE. Out this evening, the superintendent made no comment on the attack that took place here. The girl's family is just happy that she is safe at home.

It's a huge relief that the 15-year-old is back home, but questions now remain about how her school handles bullying.
