Gilmer police arrest seven people in prostitution investigation

GILMER, Texas (KETK) – The Gilmer Police Department said it arrested seven people Saturday as part of its “Operation Dear John” prostitution investigation.

“Prostitution is often accompanied by drug use and distribution, as well as human trafficking. The Gilmer Police Department plays an active role in deterring such criminal activity.

The following seven people were reportedly arrested as part of this “operation”:

Amber Nichole Davis was arrested on prostitution charges and is being held at the Upshur County Jail on $1,500 bond.

Toravion Lewis Levince was arrested for solicitation of prostitution and released on bond Sunday from the Upshur County Jail.
