Georgia man accused of chatting inappropriately with minor in Lancaster County

NEW HOLLAND, Pa. (WHTM) — A Georgia man is charged with allegedly having sexual conversations online with a minor in Pennsylvania.

According to New Holland police, on March 6, 2024, they opened an investigation into online communications between a 12-year-old girl and a 22-year-old man, Julian Williams.


Police learned that the two individuals had met on social media and had conversations over several days. During these conversations, Williams allegedly mentioned sexual acts he would perform on the 12-year-old once they met.

The two engaged in inappropriate video chats and police say Williams also sent the juvenile inappropriate photos.

Williams eventually sent the minor his Georgia address, as well as how long it would take him to get to New Holland, Pennsylvania.

With the assistance of the Cobb County Police Department, Williams faces charges including criminal solicitation, corruption of minors, child pornography and dissemination of explicit sexual material to a minor.

Williams is currently in custody at the Elberton Correctional Center in Georgia awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.
