The best Construction of Sethos in Genshin Impact will allow you to take serious damage from this four-star archer. Sethos has some pretty unique abilities for a bow user, and while he's been cursed with lower stats since he was a four-star, his interesting playstyle more than makes up for it.

Sethos is an electro unit that uses powerful charged shots that normally consume his energy, then switches to normal attacks with electro infusion after using his burst. This is the first time Genshin Impact has released an archer who actually wants to use both charged shots and normal shots, and he's in a great element as well. When playing Sethos, you'll generally want to start with his skill to generate energy, then use his charged shots to deal damage. Fully charged shots deal electrical damage to anything in their path and can even pierce enemies. They also use its elemental energy to reduce the time it takes to charge these shots, meaning they are much faster. This makes his charged shots take about the same time as Tighnari's after using his skill, so he will feel like a burst fire rifle.

His elemental blast puts him into the twilight meditation state, which transforms his normal attacks into piercing twilight bolts. These also pierce enemies and are considered charged attack damage. This allows you to change your playstyle at will, which makes Sethos feel pretty special.

Weapons: Hunter's Path or Cloudforged

Sethos' best weapon will change depending on which team you place him on. If you're playing him on a fast team, you'll need Tighnari's five-star. The hunter's path bow. This weapon not only has a critical rate substat, but also increases all elemental damage and increases the damage of charged attacks based on your elemental mastery. In terms of stats, you'll want to go for all elemental mastery if you place Sethos on a hyperbloom team, as this will result in the highest damage. Otherwise, you'll need Elemental Mastery on Sand, Electric Damage on Goblet, and Critical Rate or Critical Damage Circle.

Normal Attack: Royal Reed Archery
Normal attack	Makes up to three consecutive shots with a bow.
Charged attack	Performs a more accurate aimed shot with increased damage. When aiming, the power of the electro will build up on the arrow tip before the arrow is fired. Has different effects depending on how long the energy has been charged. Charge level one fires an arrow carrying the power of lightning that deals electrical damage. Charge level two unleashes a Shadowpiercing shot that can pierce enemies, dealing electrical damage to enemies in its path. Once the Shadowpiercing Shot is fully charged, Sethos can no longer move.
Plunging attack	Fires a shower of arrows into the air before falling and hitting the ground, dealing area damage on impact.

Elemental Skill
Ancient Rite: The Thundering Sands	Gathers the power of thunder, dealing area-of-effect electrical damage and retreating quickly. If this attack triggers electro-charged, superconducting, overcharged, accelerated, aggravated, hyperbloom, or electro-swirl reactions, Sethos recovers a certain amount of elemental energy.

Secret Rite: Twilight Shadowpiercer	Perform a secret rite, entering the twilight meditation state, during which Sethos' normal attacks will be converted into piercing twilight bolts that deal electrical damage to opponents in their path, with damage increased based on mastery elemental of Sethos. Damage dealt by Dusk Bolts is considered charged attack damage. This effect will be canceled when Sethos leaves the field.

The Sand King's Blessing	Sethos gains the Scorching Sandshade effect, increasing the damage dealt by Shadowpiercing Shots by 700% of Sethos' Elemental Mastery. The Scorching Sandshade effect will be canceled 5 seconds after a Shadowpiercing shot hits an opponent for the first time, or after four Shadowpiercing shots hit opponents. When a Shadowpiercing Shot affected by Scorching Sandshade first hits an opponent, Sethos will regain Scorching Sandshade after 15 seconds.

Papyrus Writing silent secrets	Sethos gains a 15% electrical damage bonus for 10 seconds, stacking twice, with the duration of each stack counting independently. This happens when he consumes elemental energy via targeted shots with the Black Kite's Enigma passive, or when he recovers elemental energy by triggering elemental reactions using Ancient Rite: The Thundering Sands . Sethos can also activate it using Secret Rite: Twilight Shadowpiercer.
Ode to the Sage of Moonrise	Increases normal attack level by three. The maximum upgrade level is 15.

Vajrada Amethyst Coins can be obtained by fighting a few different bosses, but we recommend the Electro Regisvine and the Millenial Pearl Seahorse. You can obtain the Satin, Silk, and Brocade items by killing Eremite enemies in Sumeru. Cloudseam Scales are obtained by repeatedly assassinating Solitary Suanni in Chenyu Vale in Liyue.

Finally, you can collect the Trishiraite in the Belt of Sands in Sumeru. It's a rock, so be sure to bring a Geo character or someone with a Claymore to farm it effectively.
