Genshin Impact Building Clorinda

Genshin Impact Clorinde: Best weapons

Clorinda's kit might seem a bit convoluted, but it basically boils down to her needing attack, elemental damage, critical rate, or critical damage buffs more than anything. There is a fairly wide range of 5-star and 4-star swords in Genshin Impact that do the trick, but Clorinde's iconic sword, Absolution, is the best choice, as you probably suspect. Absolution increases the damage of critical hits of the character equipping it, then again by 20 percent with its passive skill. When a lifelink increases in value, the character equipping it also gains a 16% damage bonus, which can stack three times. The effectiveness of this buff depends on how well planned your rotations are, since its skill and burst can grant lifelink.

THE Primal Jade Cutter is another solid choice and one that you might already have in mind if you've been playing for a long time. It increases the user's critical rate, improves their HP, and increases their attack based on their maximum HP. Clorinda's attacks do not scale to HP, but her Lifelink gain does. Gaining more Bond, faster, means you're able to pull off his most powerful attacks without much trouble.

Several other 5-star weapons work for Clorinda to varying degrees. Reforged Mistbreaker gives him a critical damage and elemental damage buff. Haran Geppaku Futsu it's even better. It improves critical rate and provides a nice little elemental damage and normal attack increase. Even Blade to the sky works properly, thanks to its energy recharge, its small critical rate buff and its additional damage dealt during normal attacks. It just depends on what you have, but the point is if you have it, you can save your Primogems and avoid casting his signature.

On the 4 star side, the simplest and best choice is Finale of the depths. This excellent sword increases the user's attack with its secondary stat and then again with its passive skill once the character equipping it uses its elemental skill. Finale also gives the user a lifelink equal to 25% of their maximum HP which, when cleared, further enhances their attack. You can use this link to complete some of Clorinda's skill requirements, so it's a great help across the board.

There is also the Black Sword. You can get this one from the Battle Pass – the $9.99 tier, so you don't need to unlock the more expensive one unless you want to – without messing around with any gacha nonsense. The Black Sword increases the user's critical hit rate and grants a 20-40% bonus to normal and charged attacks. Most of Clorinda's damage counts as normal attack damage, thanks to how her skill works, so it's a hassle-free way to get a big buff. It also restores the user's HP by a set amount upon landing a critical hit – useful if Clorinda needs healing and also to increase her lifelink.

The flute is another solid choice if you have it. It brings a large attack buff to the metaphorical board, then after using five normal or charged attacks, it triggers an effect that deals 100 to 200 percent of the user's attack in a small area of effect.

Clorinde Weapon F2P

Your best bet for Clorinda's F2P weapon is Finale of the Deep. Even if you're new to Genshin Impact, you can go to Fontaine, buy the blueprint for the weapon, and find the items needed to craft it without making any significant progress in the story.

Genshin Impact Clorinde: best artifacts

Clorinde offers a few artifact choices that work effectively. One is the Fragment of harmonic fantasy together, which fits well with Clorinde's Bond of Life mechanics.

  • 2 piece effect: increases attack by 18%
  • 4-Piece Effect: The teaming character deals 18% more damage when a lifelink increases or decreases, and the effect can stack three times.

Clorinda's lifelink will increase quite often, so it's an easy way to get big buffs without much investment.

Or you can try the Chasm set Echoes of an offeringif you have good ones in your inventory.

  • 2 piece effect: increases attack by 18%
  • 4-Piece Effect: Normal attacks have a chance to activate the Valley Rite effect, which increases normal attack damage by 70% of the user's attack.

An easier set to put together, especially if you are early in the game, is Gladiator Finale.

  • 2 piece effect: increases attack by 18%
  • 4-Piece Effect: Normal attack damage increases by 35% if the equipping character uses a sword, polearm, or clay.

Some players recommend Thundering Fury, which is a good choice – but only if you're using Clorinde on a Dendro team. The set's reworked four-piece effect only improves Electro attacks if they are used in Bloom or Quicken Dendro reactions.

Genshin Impact Clorinde: Best stats

Clorinda functions like most characters in the main DPS category and requires attack, critical hit rate, and critical hit damage. If you're using this on a Dendro team, be sure to throw some elemental mastery into the mix as well, especially if you're using it with the Thundering Fury set.

It boils down to this:

  • Sands: Elemental Attack or Mastery
  • Goblet: electro attack or damage
  • Diadem: critical rate or critical damage

This all works for Clorinda's substats as well.
