Yet again, another report based on US intelligence sources has reaffirmed that the mysterious “Havana Syndrome” was not caused by a foreign adversary wielding strange energy weapons. As for other possibilities that hundreds of U.S. officials may have suffered from a host of symptoms while working overseas, the intelligence community still has no real idea what happened, nor why.

The Washington Post reported On Wednesday, based on five anonymous sources in the U.S. intelligence community, an internal report concluded that it was “highly unlikely” that an enemy wielding a secret weapon was behind the mysterious La Syndrome reports. Havana. Since 2016, numerous US diplomats and intelligence agents have reportedly be hit with damaging injuries After ofwrite piercing sounds or intense pressure in the head. Others described symptoms of dizziness and fatigue. Hundreds of U.S. officials working abroad have described these problems in several different countries, leading to widespread speculation that Havana Syndrome is caused by a foreign attack or a new-age surveillance device.

Two unnamed intelligence officials familiar with the government investigation told the Post that seven intelligence agencies, including the CIA and the State Department, conducted a recently finalized internal report. Agencies reviewed about 1,000 cases involving officials who claimed to have a range of symptoms. Five of these agencies indicated that it was “highly unlikely” that Havana syndrome was caused by a foreign country, whether by accident or intentionally. Another agency only lightly covered saying It is Havana is “unlikely” to be the fault of a foreign adversary. The final agency stopped short of issuing a definitive conviction, although all concluded that a foreign actor was not the cause of these strange symptoms.

According to one of the anonymous intelligence sources, the United States had the tools and capabilities to monitor any type of attack on personnel, and yet “there was nothing.” The agencies also concluded that foreign governments having a weapon capable of causing such injury was “highly unlikely.”

This follows years of leaked reports about ongoing investigations into the mystery symptoms. A 2022 interim report from the The CIA also confirmed that the incident was not caused by a foreign adversary.. In 2021, a scientific study disclosed by the State Department concluded it wasn't because of microwave weapons. These agencies go against a panel's assumptions summoned by the intelligence community. Last year, the panel said a foreign power could have used some sort of electromagnetic device to cause the injuries.

Much of the speculation about a “microwave” device involved in Havana syndrome was driven by a 2020 report from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. although scientists around the world have offered a lot of perspective. The report's authors even indicated that they were hurt by the lack of information provided by the U.S. government, which initially requested the report. According to the Post report, the National Academies of Sciences still believe the microwave weapons theory remains “viable.”

During the tenure of former President Donald Trump, the State Department was was incredibly incompetent in his initial investigation into Havana Syndrome. There have been civilian attempts to discover what was behind Havana Syndrome, including podcasts about those who suffered from symptomsbut the conspiracies persist.
