Franklin Police Search for ID Man Who Allegedly Assaulted Store Clerk

Police are looking to identify a man who allegedly assaulted an employee during a shoplifting incident in Franklin.

Franklin Police said Thursday they responded to the Franklin Fast Food Mart on North Main Street for a report of a disturbance.

Police said a man wearing a red sweatshirt was believed to be involved in the incident, but the suspect fled the scene before police arrived.
