Four teens killed in Dodge County crash

The four teens were in a pickup truck that collided with a tractor-trailer early Monday morning.

Four teenagers are dead following a crash involving a pickup truck and a semi-tractor early Monday morning. Officers responded to the crash site on Highway 16/60 and County Road TT near Elba around 4 a.m. The scene was about three miles to the east. of Columbus in Dodge County. According to a press release, a Ford F-150 was heading north on CR TT when the driver ran a stop sign and was struck by a tractor-trailer traveling east on Highway 16/ 60. The semi-trailer was not carrying a trailer. Three of the five people aboard the F-150 were pronounced dead at the scene, including: A 19-year-old Sun Prairie man, identified as the driver A 17-year-old Sun Prairie boy, passenger A 16-year-old boy of Madison, passengerA fourth passenger in the F-150, an 18-year-old woman, died at the hospital. The fifth passenger, an 18-year-old woman from Madison, is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the tractor-trailer, identified as a 57-year-old man from La Farge, Wisconsin, was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The names of the victims have not been released. The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.

Officers responded to the crash on Highway 16/60 and County Road TT near Elba at around 4am. The scene took place about three miles east of Columbus in Dodge County.

According to a press release, a Ford F-150 was heading north on CR TT when the driver ran a stop sign and was struck by a tractor-trailer traveling east on Highway 16/ 60. The semi-trailer was not carrying a trailer.

Three of the five people inside the F-150 were pronounced dead at the scene, including:

  • 19-year-old Sun Prairie man identified as driver
  • 17-year-old Sun Prairie boy, passenger
  • 16-year-old Madison boy, passenger

A fourth passenger in the F-150, an 18-year-old woman, died at the hospital. The fifth passenger, an 18-year-old woman from Madison, is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the tractor-trailer, identified as a 57-year-old man from La Farge, Wisconsin, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The names of the victims have not been released.

The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is investigating the crash.
