Four candidates identified for Memphis athletic director position – Memphis Local, Sports, Business & Food News

The University of Memphis will interview a small group of candidates for its vacant athletic director position in the coming week, two sources with knowledge of the search process told The Daily Memphian.

One of the sources said up to six candidates would be interviewed, and both sources said this week's interviews would take place over Zoom.

Among those expected to be interviewed, according to both sources, are current Tennessee assistant athletic director Ryan Alpert, Clemson assistant athletic director Kevin White, Virginia assistant athletic director Ed Scott and current Buffalo vice president and athletic director Mark Alnutt.
