Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 New Map and Weapon Loot Pool Changes

FortniteIt is Chapter 5 Season 3 is doubled Destroy, and features Mad Max-like wastelands with car mods and war-torn characters. The island has also moved, so the southern part is filled with desert to reflect this.

Last season's Greek mythology theme hasn't completely disappeared, as Mount Olympus and the Underworld are still on the map. The southern part of the map has been swallowed up by the desert, so you'll be able to find new characters like Peabody and Brite Raider (outfits also included in this season's Battle Pass) wandering around.

Fortnite Map Changes for Chapter 5 Season 3 Update

As mentioned above, the southern part of this map has been occupied by bright desert regions with areas where you can fuel your car. There are four new points of interest: the Nitrodome, Sandy steppes, Brutal BeachheadAnd Redline Platform.

These weapons have not been vaulted for the new season:

• Vehicle module: Cow catcher
• Vehicle mod: off-road tires

These are also new elements added for Chapter 5 of Season 3:

Some of the weapons in the list above will only be available when fighting the respective boss. For example, you will get Megalo Don's mythical battle rifle for eliminating Megalo Don. These bosses also appear to drop medallions, just like last season.

In addition to the above, specialty weapons dropped by bosses (like Ares' Warforged Assault Rifle) have been vaulted, since they are no longer featured bosses. These boss medallion versions have also been vaulted, although as mentioned above, there are now new boss medallion versions that fit the theme of the season.
