Fortnite Adds New X-Men Collaboration With Weapon-X Skin

Have you ever dreamed of fighting as the Weapon-X version of Wolverine in Fortnite? What a silly question. Because now you can!

Epic Games has added what will likely be one of the most requested skins you'll see in a while, as you get the Weapon-X version of Wolverine in Fortnite. In case you didn't already know, the game is currently hosting a crossover event featuring the X-Men, and with it have come some interesting additions. Specifically, this skin, as you can now purchase a drugged and brainwashed Wolverine as he escaped the Weapon-X lab after having adamantium bonded to his skeleton and claws. Additionally, you can find the Weapon-X lab on the island right now, as it's located somewhere on the eastern side of the island in Grand Glacier. Drawn to the wastelands of Battle Royale, the X-Men's Master of Magnetism is ready to destroy his rivals everywhere that he goes into Fortnite. Complete the Magneto's Wrecked Battle Pass quests to unlock the Wastelander Magneto Outfit and matching accessories! Magnetic Gauntlets

Even inanimate objects bend to the will of Magneto’s Gauntlets! In Battle Royale, pick them up from the ground or from chests, then summon shards of metal to use as ammunition. Throw the shards at your enemies to deal devastating damage! You can also protect yourself by summoning shards to form a shield. Magneto Gauntlets are not included in Prize Tournaments.

Magneto's Quests – Page 1

Think you can match up to the leader of Asteroid M? Magneto's quests will test your mastery of his gauntlets in Fortnite Battle Royale: complete three quests from Page 1 to unlock the Wastelander Magneto Outfit (which includes a Locker option to remove Magneto's helmet and equip a face plate), and the quests on page 2! The quests on page 1 can be completed in any order.

• Visit the Weapon X lab: “Stop your rejoicing and listen to me – immediately!” Unlocks the Knock, Knock, CLANG loading screen.
• Collect Magneto's Gauntlets: “Those who fail to seize power…and quickly…will be lost.” Unlocks Magneto's Grip Spray.
• Travel 300 units through the air with Magneto Gauntlets equipped: “I have the power to destroy, but I choose not to.” Unlocks the Magnetized Scrap Pickaxe.
• Hit 10 vehicles using the Magneto Gauntlets: “I am — the Power!” Unlocks a Magneto Wastelander banner icon.

Magneto's Quests – Page 2

After completing three of the quests on Page 2, you will unlock the Magneto style of the Wastelander Magneto Outfit. Complete the quests on Page 2 in any order!

• Eliminate 5 opponents with Magneto Gauntlets:“Let me show you real pain and real anger!” Unlocks the crushed GG emoticon.
• Block 200 hits using Magneto Gauntlets for defense: “I challenge you to do the worst.” Unlocks the Magnetic Step Glider.
• Deal 2,000 damage to opponents on a floor equal to or higher than this one: “There is no place to hide.” Unlocks the Disassemble emote.
• Configure 3 Rift Beacons: “The time for subtlety is over.” Unlocks the Master of Magnetism coating.
