A former MMA fighter has admitted to stabbing another man to death in an Atlantic City hotel room two years ago before leaving the gruesome scene in the victim's clothes.

Andrew Osborne, 35, pleaded guilty to aggravated manslaughter in connection with the murder of Brian A. Wilkinson on September 23, 2022, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced.

Osborne told authorities Thursday that he stabbed Wilkinson, 47, in the head and neck in the latter's room at the Ocean Casino Resort.

He then left the scene wearing Wilkinson's shoes and pants, NJ Advance Media reported, citing court documents.

Wilkinson's door was opened from the inside around 6:57 a.m. on the day of the murder, and the deadbolt was deployed to prevent it from closing, authorities added.

Surveillance footage showed Osborne in a nearby elevator around 7:09 a.m. He was then seen leaving Wilkinson's floor.

Wilkinson's bedroom door closed around 7:11 a.m. and didn't reopen until 7:30 a.m., NJ Advance Media said.

Osborne, of Philadelphia, was then seen returning to the elevator with a black plastic bag. He opened the door to his room, which was on another floor, around 7:35 a.m.

Less than 25 minutes later, Osborne and his wife – who has not been publicly named – were seen on security cameras in the hotel parking lot.

Wilkinson's body was found later that day, around 1:30 p.m.

The couple fled to Philadelphia, where Osborne was arrested while leaving his home three days later, NJ Advance Media said.

Osborne was a professional mixed martial arts fighter between January 2012 and October 2013, KYW Radio reported. His record was one victory and two defeats.

Osborne will be sentenced Aug. 22 before Judge Bernard E. DeLury Jr., officials said.

He faces up to 25 years in prison.
