Foolio's Hacked Instagram Account Comments on Leaked Photo of His Alleged Killer

The Foolio saga continues. The rapper was shot and killed on June 23 in Tampa, Florida. The rap community has generally been mourning the loss of the person who lost his life, but the drama surrounding Foolio has overshadowed the mourning. The rapper’s nemesis, Yungeen Ace, has released two diss tracks since the shooting. Even more bizarre, Foolio’s Instagram account has remained active. The account has posted videos and even left scattered comments about Yungeen Ace’s insults. The account went silent over the weekend, but came roaring back on July 2.

That’s when a photo of the rapper’s alleged killer surfaced online. The photo is blurry, as the Riemoh account posted, but Foolio commented nonetheless. “Demi God,” the account wrote, along with a purple demon emoji. It may seem confusing out of context, but it’s a phrase Foolio used while he was alive. During an interview with No Jumper in 2024, the rapper told the host that he could never die. “I’m not going anywhere,” he said. “I’m a demigod. You can’t get me.” Foolio later posted the interview to his Instagram with the caption, “I’m never gonna die, I’m a demigod.”

Foolio's Instagram account wrote “Demi God” under the blurry photo

The “Demi God” post also confirms that someone or a group of people have maintained control of the rapper’s social media. Some fans have speculated that the police took control of the account in an effort to locate the rapper’s killer. Then there are those who believe that Foolio’s mother is commenting from his account, but that doesn’t explain the strange and cryptic nature of the comments/posts.

Foolio’s mother released a public statement following the rapper’s death. It was direct and heartfelt. She also announced that she would be making a documentary about Foolio’s life. “The story that only I can tell because I know the truth from the inaccuracy,” she wrote. “I feel like I’m the ONLY mother who stays authentic when most others know full well what was going on with their OWN sons.” Foolio’s mother has no problem speaking her mind, so it makes sense that she would admit that she was the one who posted under her son’s name. Hopefully, the Instagram user’s true identity will eventually be revealed.
