Florida teen Keniah Washington graduates from college at 14: 'mindblowing'

Keniah Washington is far from your typical teenager. In early May, the 14-year-old from Tampa earned a 3.0 GPA from Saint Leo University of Florida, earning her associate's degree in liberal arts. Her passion for education pushed her to undertake such an academic feat at a young age.

“I started taking classes in high school when I was in sixth grade,” Keniah told USA TODAY, noting that she took classes online and was placed in a dual-enrollment program while attending Icon Preparatory School.

“Once the teachers and staff saw that I was still excelling at my job, they enrolled me and a group of other kids at Saint Léon, and we got a tutor,” she said. -she declared.
