Florida Missing Child Alert Issued for 3-Year-Old South Miami Girl – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

SOUTH MIAMI, FLA. (WSVN) – Authorities are asking for the public's help in their search for a 3-year-old girl who was reported missing in South Miami.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a missing child alert in Florida for Shea Eminhizer Saturday evening.

Investigators said the toddler was last seen in the area of ​​the 6500 block of Southwest 78th Terrace.

Shea is described as 3 feet tall, weighs about 40 pounds, and has blond hair and brown eyes. Authorities have not said what she was last seen wearing.

Authorities said the child may be in the company of 41-year-old Christine Betancourt.

She is 1.65 m tall and has black hair and brown eyes. Authorities have not released her weight or what she was wearing when she was last seen.

Investigators said Shea and Betancourt may have been traveling in a gray 2021 Volvo XC 90 with extra-dark windows and Florida tag IEX419.

Authorities are urging anyone who spots the couple to refrain from approaching them and instead contact the FDLE's Missing and Endangered Persons Information Center at 1-888-FL MISSING (1-888-356-4774), South Miami Police at 305-663-6301 or 911.
