Florida deputy watched sex videos of children and dogs at work, sheriff says

LARGO, FL — A Pinellas County Sheriff's Office detention deputy was arrested after pornographic videos involving children and dogs were found on his phone, authorities said.

Trevor Willis, 33, was charged with 10 counts of possession of child pornography, 10 counts of transmission of child pornography and two counts of sexual activity involving animals, according to a PCSO news release.

Investigators began their investigation after receiving information that child pornography was being accessed and shared via the Internet. Investigators identified Willis as the suspect.

According to detectives, the videos showed children aged between five and 15.

In addition to child pornography, detectives also found videos of a child engaging in sexual activity with a dog, the sheriff's office said.

Willis used his personal cellphone while on duty at the Pinellas County Jail and was connected to PCSO Wi-Fi while viewing the videos, the agency said.

When questioned by detectives, he admitted to obtaining and sending child pornography files.

He was booked into the Pinellas County Jail and resigned from the sheriff's office Monday morning.
