Flagler Sheriff's Office PAL Opens Registration for Summer Events | Local News Observer

The Flagler Police Athletic League (PAL) has scheduled several mobile PAL events and sports camps for children of all ages this summer, along with their regular programming at the George Washington Carver Community Center and other locations.

Mobile PAL events are free to the public and will feature entertainment, games, arts and crafts, lunch and more.

This year's calendar of activities and events includes: *

• Mobile PAL Hidden Trails – June 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• PAL Espanola mobile park – June 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

• CSI Camp – Location to be determined – Tentatively from July 22 to 26

• Volleyball at GW Carver Center – Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

• Soccer at GW Carver Center – Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

• Tennis at Wadsworth Park – Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (July only)

• Belle Terre Swim and Racquet Swimming League – Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.

• SWEAT at GW Carver Center – Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

• Gym open at GW Carver Center: Monday – Friday 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Mentoring through exercise and nutrition, the championship's new fitness program for ages 7 to 14 will be offered year-round, except on holidays. It is free and will be held at the following locations and times:

• Championship Fitness Program at Hidden Trails Park – Mondays 4:30-5:30 p.m.

• Championship Fitness Program at GW Carver Center – Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The Flagler Sheriff's Police Athletic League (PAL) is affiliated with the Flagler County Sheriff's Office and strives to have deputies actively involved in all of its programs. As part of its mission to serve the youth of Flagler County, PAL serves nearly 1,000 children in a variety of youth sports programs, camps and mentorships run and mentored by an all-volunteer staff.
