Five local unsolved cases highlighted on National Missing Children's Day | Local

OREGON — May 25 is National Missing Children's Day — and to honor the day, NewsWatch 12 is highlighting five local unsolved cases.

This day is dedicated to encouraging parents, guardians and others to make child safety a priority. It is also a day full of hope for finding missing children and reuniting them with their families.

Here are five local cases.

Jay Pringle

Jay Pringle disappeared from Gardena, California on April 19, 1977. However, before he disappeared in California, he lived in Medford. He would be 64 now. Below is a photo of him before his disappearance.

According to his report, he had scars above his left eye, on his left elbow, on his left calf and on his knees. Below is a photo of progression by age.

Cindy Irene King

VSIndy Irene King disappeared from Grants Pass on July 19, 1977. According to her report, she is now 62 years old. Below is a photo of her taken before she disappeared.

King was last seen wearing a retainer. Her ears are pierced and she has a small scar near her right temple. Below is an image of the progression by age.

Toby Eugene Anderson

Toby Anderson disappeared from Selma on August 22, 1988. He would now be 54 years old. Here is a photo of him before his disappearance. He does not have an age progression photo.

Samuel Savage Becker Boehlke

Samuel Savage Becker Boehlke went missing at Crater Lake National Park on October 14, 2006. According to his report, he was last seen wearing a black and green striped long-sleeved shirt, cargo pants, red suede shoes and a blue winter coat. Below is a photo of him before his disappearance.

According to his report, he has a mole under his right ear and a mole on the left side of his throat. Below is a photo of progression by age.

Brandon Edward Perdue

Brandon Perdue disappeared in Medford on June 13, 2008. He would now be 34 years old. Below is a photo of him before his disappearance.

“Brandon may be traveling in a red 1998 Honda Civic two-door coupe with Oregon license plates XVB615,” his report states. “He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans. Brandon may need medical attention.”
