COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — The Franklin County Coroner's Office has identified two men shot and killed during a candlelight vigil in east Columbus for another shooting victim, but has only released one only their names Thursday afternoon.

Lonnie Johnston, 29, was the victim named by the coroner's office in Monday night's shooting. Columbus police said he was pronounced dead minutes after the 9:54 p.m. incident, which occurred in Krumm Park, near the 800 block of Alton Avenue.

The coroner's office did not release the name of the second victim Thursday afternoon because it had only “tentatively identified” her. He added that once the second victim was positively identified, his name would also be released.

Columbus Police Sgt. Joseph Albert said the candlelight vigil held at the time of the shooting was for Da'Mya Cummerlander, who was shot and killed early Sunday in the 2600 block of Woodsedge Road. He noted that at least 50 people, possibly more, were at the scene when police arrived.

Columbus police have since arrested Kenneth Hariston, 20, in connection with Cummerlander's death. Although Deputy Chief Smith Weir said investigators reviewed footage of the shooting at the vigil, they have not named a suspect in the case.
