Firefighters respond to vegetation fire near Castaic

Firefighters are battling a four-acre brush fire that broke out in the Castaic area.

THE Bushfirenamed Calvin Fire, was reported around 10:45 a.m. Saturday near Borton Street in Val Verde.

First reports of the Los Angeles County Fire Department said the fire was about an acre in size, but had spread to nearly four acres with minimal winds.
