Firefighters respond early to apartment fire

The fire was first reported Monday morning at an apartment complex near East Mississippi Avenue and South Dahlia Street.

GLENDALE, Colo. — Firefighters responded to an early morning apartment fire near East Mississippi Avenue and South Dahlia Street. It's on the east side of Infinity Park in Glendale.

When crews arrived, they saw “intense fire and smoke” coming from a single room in an apartment, according to a post from Denver Fire on the social platform X.

Around 5:34 a.m., Denver firefighters reported the fire had been extinguished and at least one family had been displaced due to fire and water damage.

No injuries were reported, according to the Denver Fire Department.
