Firefighters and ambulance services ready for FEUD game rematch

For the second year in a row, Tri-County Ambulance and the Newcomerstown Fire Department faced off in the Newcomerstown Arts Center's FEUD match during the Second Saturday event, June 8. The competition included exciting question and answer rounds with wild physical challenges including hoops. , a head-mounted ring toss, and a hilarious ball and cup board game. Although the firefighters triumphed in the question segment, Tri-County Ambulance dominated the physical challenges. Both teams requested a rematch on the second Saturday, July 13.

One of the kids' favorite events was cardio drumming with Tricia Whitehawk. She will be back next month and will offer drumming for children and adults. A myriad of other activities are planned.

Football and golf course

The Newcomerstown football team is hosting a golf race on July 27 at River Greens Golf Course located at Ohio 751 near West Lafayette. There is a shotgun start at 1 p.m. and the cost per team of 4 people is $240. There will be an 18-hole round of golf with cart and a meal to follow.
