Fire crews were dispatched to Kimberly Clark at 10 a.m. Wednesday due to smoke visible from the electrical room of the plant located at 1 Avenue of the States in Chester.

A second alarm was quickly triggered.

An electrician was missing and searches were underway. Later, all of Kimberly Clark's employees were reportedly found.

Crews were laying the pipes, but one crew was asked not to load the pipe.

The chief present at the scene requested that rail traffic be stopped because a supply line was being laid across the tracks.

Specialized equipment responded to the scene of the fire.

Firefighters were asked to evacuate the third floor and it was reported that there had been an explosion which knocked out the power.

This is a developing story.
